- 4 cups water
- 2 inch piece of ginger
- 1 inch piece of turmeric
- 1 lime
- In a saucepan, boil water, ginger, and turmeric for 7 minutes.
- Strain as you pour the liquid into teacups.
- Squeeze in the juice of the lime (you can also include the rind).
- Drink warm.
*Remember when preparing and handling the turmeric to wear gloves or you risk having yellow fingers for a few days!!
